Design Inspo: A Little Tile Detail Makes A Big Difference!

There are a lot of details to consider when you’re planning your remodel; most homeowners focus on picking the perfect countertop, the beautiful accent tile they’ve had their eyes on, and maybe a show-stopper of a light fixture, but there are some options or selections you may not even know you have… like register covers! If your heat supply comes from registers on your floor, you can bet you have options for what these look like too - and my guess is if you’re remodeling your bathroom, you probably have the plain old metal covers that sit right on top of the floor tile, and may even cause you to trip if you’re not careful!
So, why not upgrade this pesky item too? That’s right, for a few extra dollars, you can have a tile-in register cover that blends in seamlessly with your new tile floor.
The tile setter/installer does need to spend some extra time to cut the tile pieces just the right size to fit into the register cover, but the end result is truly beautiful (when you notice it), and the cost for the upgrade is minor in the big picture of the cost of the bathroom remodel (check with your contractor, but usually it’s only a couple hundred dollars).
