What’s a great master bath without plenty of storage? In addition to the great cabinets, we have handy niches everywhere you could possibly need one, and with all of these great details, could you even tell that this bathroom is fully accessible? That’s right, we’ve got a barrier-free shower, grab bars, and plenty of floor space to maneuver, around it all!

Project Details: We completely remodeled and reconfigured this master/primary bath; the original bath was taken down to the studs to create a more spacious and accessible bathroom with a soaking tub, tons of storage, privacy for the toilet, tons of natural light and a curbless shower. The homeowner still wanted a soaking tub, but wanted a ledge that she could sit on as she got in and out of the tub, so we selected an undermount tub and built a tub surround and deck that could assist her comfortably while getting in and out. The floor tile and shower wall tile is a wood plank tile from Home Depot, the mosaic accent tile is a frosted glass blend, and the countertops and tub deck are a cementitious slab called Ice Stone that incorporates recycled glass and shell pieces. We installed windows with frosted glass and skylights for a light filled space, and the homeowner loved the vintage vibe and watery texture of glass block, so we included it in the shower. The vanity cabinets are painted white by Dura Supreme, and we installed a beadboard wainscoting in a matching white paint for some extra texture.
