A kitchen, living, storage, and laundry room remodel in Aptos, California.
We wanted to improve the flow and function of this kitchen, while giving the homeowners better sightlines from the kitchen to the family room and dining room. We focused on creating more connected and accessible space with plenty of storage and features for the family to use for years to come.

While the layout of this kitchen, living area and laundry room didn’t change drastically, the aesthetic and vibe did! The layout was generally functional, but the cabinet storage was inefficient, appliances were failing, and the finishes needed to be updated. We designed custom stained white oak cabinets for the island, custom cream painted perimeter kitchen and laundry cabinets, we designed a brand new beverage bar, added a full height pantry cabinet and designed a daily coffee station with pocketing cabinet doors.
This kitchen features custom, raised panel cabinetry, Taj Mahal quartzite countertops, Monogram appliances, brass plumbing fixtures and cabinet hardware, engineered wood flooring and a beautiful custom cabinet hood with brass strapping and nail heads.
