Warm and Welcoming Guest Bath: Small Changes for Big Impact

Small changes made a big impact in this guest bath!  The layout remained the same, but the bathroom was remodeled from top to bottom.  The warm, neutral colors in the limestone floor and wall tile create a beautiful backdrop for the martini glass accent tile and matte black hardware to pop!

Project Details: This one is personal for me; it’s the bathroom I grew up in! This is the hall/kids’ bath at my parent’s home, and it was original to the home (built in the 1970s) when we remodeled it. We kept the layout exactly the same and took it down to the studs. They wanted this bath to have a tub, so we installed a new acrylic tub with bi-pass sliding glass shower doors, new semi-custom vanity cabinets from Dura Supreme in a painted beige color, quartz countertops, tumbled travertine tile on the floor, polished travertine tile on the shower walls, and a frosted glass and stone mosaic tile in the shower niche and for the vanity backsplash. The plumbing fixtures are brushed nickel, and the hardware, mirrors, and sconces are matte black.
